The Board is comprised of five Regional Directors and two Specialist Directors, and is supported by the Chief Executive Officer.
Tamara has been at the helm of QIFVLS since September 2015 and has a vision to continue to build the organisation into a strong support network for our stakeholders across Queensland.
Having a background in the Community Development Management area she has concentrated her professional life in the areas involving Indigenous priorities, family and domestic violence issues, community governance development, and voluntary / education / tertiary and youth sectors.
Patricia was appointed Specialist Legal Director on the QIFVLS board in January 2014. Patricia is a Barrister-of-Law based in Brisbane.
Steven was appointed Specialist Financial Services Director on the QIFVLS board in January 2015. He is the Chief Financial Officer of the Mantra Group, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA.

Barry, a Kabi Kabi man, has been the Chair of the QIFVLS board since 2012. He is a Parent Next Support Worker at Impact Community Services based in Rockhampton.
Stephanie King - Gulf & West Queensland Director
Stephanie, a Wannyi-Garawa woman who lives in Mount Isa, commenced with the Board of QIFVLS in 2011. She is a Research Project Officer for JCU's Mount Isa Centre for Rural and Remote Health.
Adrian Geary - North Queensland - Stakeholder Engagement
Adrian, a Bidjara man, has been on the Board of QIFVLS since 2011. He is a Sergeant in the Queensland Police Service based in Mackay.
Gavin Power - Specialist Director SQ - Community Development
Born and raised in Juru country, Nth Qld. Passionately serving communities for almost 30yrs in employed and voluntary capacity. Currently employed by Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.
